Terry Bensch was born in Prescott , Arizona. The family had a cattle ranch just south of Mayer, Arizona. They moved Red Lodge, Montana in the early 70's where they had a cattle ranch on lower Red Lodge Creek. While in high school Terry got involved in rodeo. Bullriding was his best event. Terry, a self taught graphite artist, always enjoyed drawing and doodling. He is truly enthralled by the realistic look that can be achieved by graphite art. A western background and a great love of rodeo is reflected in his art.Terry is now taking studying oil painting under Master painter Edwin Kayton. Terry now lives in Kona, Hawaii, where a hobby of drawing his cowboy friends in the various rodeo events has broadened into a new passion for drawing. Terry's art can be found in private collections and Galleries in Hawaii and Montana. |
