I am mostly a self-taught artist, but I have taken various workshops with Sheila Reiman, Julie Oriet, Mary Ann Cherry, Carol Guzman, Richard McDaniel and Richard McKinley. I, also, was a student of Greg Wilhelmi, Jeanie Southworth and Tim Shinabarger.
I have won several awards and monies over the years, most recently a Merit Award and prizes in the 2008 Nationally Juried "Pastel Extravaganza" Show in Loveland, Colorado and have artworks in homes all over the United States and Canada. I have donated artworks to several fundraisers and charities including painting both a Small Horse and Small Big Horn Sheep statues for the Restoration Project of the downtown Billings Historic Montana Ave.; also, a small grizzly bear statue for a fundraiser in Cody, Wyoming. I am a member of the Carbon County Arts Guild, Cody Country Art League, Pastel Society of the Northern Rockies and Billings Art Association - of which I was Fine Art Assistant for several years and am at present one of the artists finding locations and organizing Paint Outs during the summer months.
